Course description

This training is designed to prepare foster families and adoptive parents to handle medical emergencies. It covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and the management of emergency situations specific to children in care. Recognized by the DPJ and health centres, it provides the skills needed to ensure the safety and well-being of children under your responsibility. Available in multiple formats, this training enables you to acquire practical skills and respond with confidence in emergency situations.

Offered online, hybrid, or in person.

Success criteria

  1. Completed readings

    Complete all readings included in the course.

  2. Practical sessions

    Complete all mandatory practical sessions within the required minimum times.

  3. Theoretical assessments

    Pass with an average of 80% or higher on each theoretical assessment.

Certification: Upon successful completion, a PDF certificate is issued, valid for 3 years.
